About

The workshop, sponsored by the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Theme Project, sought to generate and exchange ideas about the practical ways that practitioners are creative in the arts and the social sciences. By facilitating discussion, organizers hoped to reveal new ways for social scientists and artists to approach and carry out their work.

Artists and social scientists discussed their methods, as well as motives and practices from conception and design until the final product is shaped and realized. By listening to one another, the attendees understood the group had much to learn from one another and vowed to continue the conversation.
